We are seeking a student-centered Health Occupations Teacher who will be responsible to continue the development of the District's robust Health Occupations program. This program leads to standard industry certificates in a variety of health occupations including nursing assistants (CNA), physical therapy assistants (PTA) and pharmacy technicians. Continued development of the program will include adding a certificate for dental assistants. The successful candidate will lead the Health Occupations Student Advisory (HOSA) group and be an integral part of the advisory Board. Possessing the ability to connect with and inspire students, build collegial and collaborative relationships with colleagues and develop and maintain relationships within the professional health community is a must. The person will possess an Idaho Advanced Occupational Specialist Certificate endorsed for Practical Nursing 6-12.
Salary and Benefits: Salary depends on education and experience. Required Qualifications:
· Idaho Advanced Occupational Specialist Certificate endorsed for Practical Nursing 6-12.
