Job Title: Lead Shipping Coordinator- Warehouse Department: 11 Forest Pkwy– East
Hours: 40 hours a week / 8:30 am – 5:00 pm - (with possible overtime & weekend work)
Summary: The Shipping Coordinator performs a variety of routine shipping functions. The purpose of this position is to meet the expectations of our customers by shipping orders on time and in full. The Lead Shipping Coordinator will facilitate completed production jobs for shipment or ship products from finished good stock. The Lead Shipping Coordinator will print pick tickets for the daily shipments, coordinate with the sales team as needed, process the shipments in the shipping portals/M2M, and assist in packaging shipments as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Pick and package products according to customer requirements
- Perform QC inspection on all outbound shipments to ensure correct part numbers and quantities are shipping to Lex customers.
- Place identifying information on outbound shipments which include address label, packing slip, commercial invoice, or other documents.
- Completes documentation timely and accurately.
- Ensures that all available shipments are shipped to Lex customers on-time each day
- Communicate with managers, peers, and subordinates on a routine basis regarding the flow of materials throughout Lex.
- Trace lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments.
- Initiate proof of delivery documents.
- Maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipment records.
- Operate pallet jack and/or forklift in loading shipments.
- Promote and follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment (may require sweeping, mopping, trash removal, etc.)
- Promptly report to supervisor all observations that are relevant to ensure a safe and efficient operation in the department.
- Finished goods are shipped on time and in a manner that meets or exceeds the fill rate.
- Willing to work overtime when necessary.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Weekly Dashboard of shipment transactions vs the goal
- Perform RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) on shipping issues (Paperwork, wrong address, packaging instructions not followed) to prevent future errors.

- High School Diploma
- U.S. Citizen is required, this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
- 5 years of experience required, Warehouse, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 & AS-9100 is required
- ERP/MRP experience (i.e. Made2Manage, Epicore, SAP, Oracle)
- Experience in – MRP systems functionality, transactions, reporting, and research
- Lot Control experience – preferred
- ERP/MRP experience (i.e. Made2Manage, Epicore, SAP, Oracle)
- Lot Control experience
- Experienced – Supply Chain, supplier relationships, project management, contracts, and cost reductions
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Process oriented, high level sense of urgency
- Good business sense
- Ability to be adaptable & flexible to changing workplace priorities
- Research in the ERP system for manual adjustments.
- Work quickly and move onto the next task
- Maintain a good attendance record and work overtime as needed
- Forklift certification and operation experience is a plus.
- Office, warehouse, and manufacturing environment
- May have long periods of sitting, standing, or walking
- May be required to lift up to 50-75lbs
