At Lexicon, we are seeking a skilled Foreman to oversee work crews and ensure the timely and safe completion of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates activities of work crews engaged in various tasks such as structural steel erection, civil work, mechanical work, and pipe installation.
- Assists workers in performing tasks like welding, bolting, assembling, and finishing.
- Prepares performance reviews, warning/counseling reports, and termination reports.
- Responsible for timely preparation of time sheets and work reports.
- Serves as liaison with clients and vendors to provide project solutions.
- Ensures adherence to company safety program, QA/QC program, and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience as a craftsman required.
- Previous supervisory experience necessary.
- Good oral communication skills essential.
- Must have all required hand tools.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift over 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to climb heights exceeding 300 feet.
- Must be able to pull own body weight when climbing.
- Job requires frequent bending, stooping, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- Must tolerate temperature fluctuations, loud noises, and dusty work environment.
