The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This position oversees the inspection and testing requirements, manages QC Inspectors, and maintains the project schedule. The Quality Control Manager will also establish vendor submittals, QC packages, and audit vendor scope of work to ensure compliance with codes and standards. Additionally, this individual will provide status reports to ensure satisfactory progress of the overall project and prepare turnover document packages for sign-off by owner representatives.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control and assurance positions is required. Certified Welding Inspector certification is preferred. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, have supervisory experience, and familiarity with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation.
This role requires occasional travel with overnight stays and exposure to temperature fluctuations and loud work environments. Overtime and weekend work may be required. All physical demands listed are essential functions of the job.
