The Quality Control Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our projects. This position is responsible for overseeing the inspection and testing requirements, managing QC Inspectors, and maintaining the project schedule. The Quality Control Manager will also establish vendor submittals, QC packages, and audit vendor scope of work to ensure compliance with codes and standards. Additionally, this individual will provide status reports to ensure satisfactory progress of the overall project and prepare turnover document packages for sign-off by owner representatives.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control and assurance positions. Certification as a Welding Inspector is preferred. The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, have supervisory experience, and familiarity with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation.
This role requires occasional travel with overnight stays and exposure to temperature fluctuations and loud work environments. Overtime and weekend work may be required. All physical demands listed are essential functions of the job.
