We seek a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our diverse research projects.

Job Overview: The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of people-centered research projects -- most often market research, employee/organization research, user experience (UX) research, and other people-centered research. They will manage quantitative and qualitative research components, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project management, market research, dataset analysis, and qualitative methods, with a critical skillset for delivering impactful insights and guiding strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans that outline specific tasks, timelines, milestones and resources required. You will oversee the execution of these plan, adjusting as necessary to meet project goals. We rely on PMP methodology for our project planning.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, facilitating collaboration and effective communication. You will be responsible for assigning tasks, setting deadlines and ensuring team members have the resources and support they need to succeed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all projects, related communications, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed about projects progress, decisions, and any changes to the project scope or timeline.
  • Methodology Implementation: Implement project management methodologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency. You will be expected to adapt these methodologies as needed to fit the unique requirements of each project.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize project management tools and software to track project progress, manage resources, and create reports. Proficiency in tools such as Airtable, Excel, Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, SharePoint, OneDrive & other MS365 tools is essential for effective data analysis, presentation creation, and decision-making support.
  • Client Presentations: Create and deliver presentations to clients, providing updates on project status, initial findings, and final outcomes. Your ability to communicate complex information in an accessible and engaging manner will be key to maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Adaptation and Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt plans and strategies in response to challenges or changes in project scope. You will be expected to identify potential issues, propose solutions and implement changes to keep projects on track.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous learning and improvement, staying ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices in project management. You will be encouraged to provide feedback on project processes and contribute ideas for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Marketing or Business, Human Resources, Public Health, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing people-centered research projects, with a strong background in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • PMP certification or willingness to obtain it in the next year
  • Experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing focus groups and interviews. Ability to code and synthesize qualitative data effectively, including data visualization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create/write reports and present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
