Senior Technical Project Manager (Divestitures)
We are working with WebMD’s parent company (Internet Brands). They looking for a Technical Project Manager role in their El Segundo, CA office (near LAX).
This is a Hybrid role, must be onsite Tuesday-Thursday in El Segundo, CA office.
Must have Mergers and Acquisitions experience - Divestitures, specifically.
The primary technical experience will be:
Data Lakes (Snowflake, Cloudera preferable).
ETL's (Informatica, Pentaho preferable) -Integrations (Boomi preferable).
- The TPM will take responsibility for one workstream in an M&A program that has 6 work streams in total.
- Must have good technical skills with experience with divestitures.
- Proven experience through the M&A process before, and have performed the data integrations that happen with M&As.
- The focus of this one is on integrations and data migrations (informatica, Pentaho, Boomi, and Snowflake (and Snowflake derivatives).
- The TPM will be responsible for managing their workplan, making sure stakeholders are aligned, managing vendors involved in the program, ensuring that they can meet milestones along the way.
- Will have some supervisory oversight of technical experts and vendors who are outside sources (Pentaho integrator, salesforce integrator, etc.).
- Must be able to bring stability and security to ambiguity. There are several questions that have not been answered yet or haven’t been asked on this project, so there are still a lot of unknowns. Must help navigate those unknowns.
- Must be able to shape their work stream and work plan and line up the resources to get that done. If they expect previously established structure, they will not do well in this role.
- Hands-on technical experience to be able to speak confidently with technical people.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience with M&A in the Legal field would be a plus.
- Some limited travel to Minnesota (5-10%).
- Compensation $75-$85/per hour DOE. Possible contract to hire.
