Financial Record-Keeping:
- Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the School Division
- Process payroll and accounts payable transactions in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure compliance with District regulations, policies, and procedures related to financial management
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Manage the School Division's payroll procedures, including collecting timesheets, processing payroll, and ensuring payroll balances prior to authorization to the City of Lexington for check printing
- Coordinate benefits administration, including processing 1099s and filing requirements
Non-Resident Tuition Services:
- Enter student contact information and process tuition payments
- Post payments to non-resident student records and manage communication to non-resident families
Support to the School Board:
- Prepare information for all Board meetings and prepare reports
- Attend all Board meetings and take minutes
- Update database for Board members and manage School Board registration and payment for conferences and trainings
