What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at Lexington Concord Apartments?
We are looking for an experienced and skilled interior painter with the ability to accomplish a smooth and flawless finish in a timely manner. Full and Part time positions available, flexible schedule for part time painters.
Painter Duties and Responsibilities
- Re-paint all surfaces in apartment units while observing all safety measures
- Prepare walls and other surfaces as needed by filling cracks and holes.
- Cover trim, floors, furniture (if any) and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths and other protective coverings to keep them free of paint. The ideal candidate will be able to paint apartment interiors without the need to mask surfaces or use drop cloths while ensuring no damage to floors.
- Remove and reinstall fixtures (doorknobs, electric switch covers) as necessary
- Clean brushes, rollers, paint trays at the end of each day
- Complete unit assignments per General Manager and communicate completion of units
- Report any issues to General Manager
Qualifications
- 10 years proven experience as a painter
- Physical strength, stamina and dexterity
- Conscientious with great attention to detail
- Must be dependable
Pay based on experience $20 - $30 per hour
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
