Overview
Lexington Home Brands, a global manufacturer and marketer of home furnishings, and a recognized leader in innovative design, lifestyle merchandising, and aspirational marketing, has an immediate job opening for a full-time Supply Chain Analyst at its Thomasville Corporate Office.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Maintain databases and data systems by addressing errors and monitoring performance.
- Reviewing and analyzing data to locate areas in the supply chain process that need improving.
- Using the results of analyses to improve the overall performance of the supply chain process and reduce costs.
- Pursuing improvement in all aspects of the supply chain by reviewing current methodology and processes
- Developing inventory management processes and procedures
- Overseeing inventory processes
- Collaborate directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
- Conduct regular assessments of inventory management practices and recommend improvements.
- Participate in procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers and negotiating contracts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong MS Excel skills and Access database knowledge
- Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization.
- Use a methodical, “common sense” approach to supply chain and business decisions.
- Required Skills:
- Ability to use abstract reasoning, possess problem solving ability, stability, a high level of conscientiousness, and the ability to be accommodating and service oriented.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, anticipating potential roadblocks and recognizing trends.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, be pro-active, and follow-through on work assigned by organizing, prioritizing, and staying on task.
- Ability to skillfully negotiate with internal and external customers in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Display positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Use a methodical, “common sense” approach to supply chain and business decisions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
