Are you ready to have some FUN this summer? The On-Field Host/Emcee is a key member of the family FUN in-game experience here at Lexington Professional Baseball and is responsible for leading the execution of all fan-facing pregame activities and in-game promotions.

The Host/Emcee must be energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic while possessing a professional speaking voice and stage presence. The Host/Emcee must truly love performing in front of large crowds and have a high comfort level for interacting with fans of all ages. It is vital that the Host/Emcee is a team player and constantly strives to elevate fellow entertainment staff.
The Host/Emcee will report directly to the General Manager and work alongside the Promotions Manager to develop and input creative ideas as well as ensure a high-quality production.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong stage presence and desire to perform in front of large crowds.
- Ability to memorize scripts with the capacity to improvise.
- Understanding of blocking and ability to take stage direction.
- Experience in theatrical or performing arts is preferred.
- On-camera experience is preferred.
HOURS:
The Lexington Legends season consists of 63 home games that are played between April and September. Working as the emcee requires you to be the primary entertainer for the team, working all of games. Be available for off-field opportunities for community appearances and events.
