About The Role
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be a key member of the Data and AI team at Lexington Partners. This team is responsible for building and managing data engineering, analytics, and GenAI solutions to drive business impact. We are looking for a pragmatic problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver impactful solutions.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong technical foundation, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to navigate complex data challenges. You will play a crucial role in integrating AI solutions in our existing digital solutions, optimizing our data infrastructure, and enabling insights through data.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement data models and master data management solutions.
- Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and data management frameworks to support business needs.
- Evaluate, prototype, and implement aligned with business objectives; these solutions range from dashboards, analytics to cutting-edge AI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable data and AI-driven solutions.
- Take ownership of projects from ideation to production, operating in a startup-like culture within an enterprise environment.
- Work with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI to create actionable insights.
- Stay up to date with emerging data and AI technologies, bringing best practices to the team.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, data science, machine learning, or related fields.
- Experience with LLMs, embeddings, NLP, and AI/ML tools, with the ability to evaluate and prototype solutions.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data pipeline technologies (Spark, Flink, etc.).
- Strong expertise in Snowflake ecosystem and experience with data modeling, warehousing and master data management.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred).
- Familiarity with data Tableau and Alteryx is a plus.
- A self-starter who embraces learning new skills and technologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and ownership mindset—being a team player is non-negotiable.
Salary : $175,000 - $215,000
