Job Summary: Lexington Plastic Surgeons is seeking a skilled and compassionate Aesthetic Nurse to join our team. As an Aesthetic Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our patients in achieving their aesthetic goals. This position requires a combination of clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences. This opportunity is quite special and for the right candidate and there is OWNERSHIP possibility for an electronic cosmetic start up company. This is a hybrid position with some aesthetic services being performed in the office and others outside the office. There is also the opportunity to travel to our other offices if you have multi-state licensure.
Responsibilities:
Patient Consultations:
- Conduct thorough aesthetic consultations to understand patients' goals and expectations.
- Provide expert advice on appropriate aesthetic treatments based on individual needs.
Injectable Procedures:
- Administer a variety of injectable treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers, and other cosmetic enhancements.
- Ensure precise and safe injection techniques to achieve optimal results.
Skincare Treatments:
- Perform non-surgical skincare treatments such as chemical peels, laser therapy, and microdermabrasion.
- Customize treatment plans based on patients' skin types and concerns.
Patient Education:
- Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care, potential risks, and expected outcomes.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the plastic surgeons, and other team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Attend regular team meetings to discuss and implement best practices in aesthetic nursing.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments, progress, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
Continuing Education:
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements in aesthetic medicine, and new treatment modalities.
- Attend relevant training sessions and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid nursing license in Maryland.
- Certification in aesthetic nursing is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in administering injectables and performing aesthetic procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
