What are the responsibilities and job description for the TRAVEL SURGICAL NURSE PRACTIONER / PA position at Lexington Plastic Surgeons?
We are a nationally recognized growing cosmetic surgery company with locations across the country. We have an incredibly exciting position available and are currently hiring for a Full-time, Surgical NP or PA in our ATL practice that has First Assist experience in the operating room. APP will be required to obtain licenses in the other states of our practice (NYC,NJ, MD, FL, TX and CA) and be able to travel 1 -2 weeks per month. Ideally a compact license is preferred.
You must love the Operating Room and have the desire to treat patients on the full circle of their surgical journey. Must be good with your hands and want to do procedures as this position will train you to be mini versions of our surgeons and you will be able to perform minor procedures independently within the scope of your license, such as neurotoxins, fillers, lasers, excisional biopsies, moderate sedation and so much more. We are looking for this first assist to have experience scrubbing into cases, suturing (closing) and assisting. Circulating OR Nurse experience is also desired.
You will also see patients pre and post operatively, assist in cosmetic surgery and plastic surgery consultations, and assist with items related to compliance with our accreditation with AAAHC.
You need to be flexible with scheduling, and ok with early (6:30am) start times on surgery days.
Our services also include: microsurgery, reconstructive, free flaps, breast surgery, abdominal wall, tummy tucks, keloid removal, a variety of cosmetic and aesthetic procedures, etc.
Knowledge of Botox, Juvederm, Dermapen, skin tightening, body contouring, Non-Surgical Lip Augmentation, Non-Surgical Crow's Feet Correction, Non-Surgical Cheek Augmentation, Non-Surgical Face Lift, Liquid Face Lift, Laser Resurfacing, Laser Peel, Laser Removal of Festoons - Under-Eye Bags|Cheek Bags, Sclerotherapy, Dermapen Resurfacing, IPL Photo facial, ViPeel, Chemical Peels, Oxygen Rx Facial and Esthetic Services is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have analytical decision making skills, a great customer care disposition, be team oriented have high integrity and is a rapid learner with the ability to grasp concepts.
Practitioner Acts as a liaison to ensure consistent adherence to established guest care standards.
