Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices. This role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.

Duties

• Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
• Oversee the maintenance management program, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Utilize electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Maintain and repair various types of machinery, including those with logic controllers, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Implement best practices in facilities management to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management for compliance purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management is required.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Knowledge of logic controllers and their applications in industrial settings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.81 - $22.93 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
