Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units, screening potential tenants, and executing lease agreements.
- Oversee property maintenance and ensure that facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations.
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, fostering positive relationships through excellent customer service.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors for maintenance and repair services, ensuring quality work at competitive prices.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant files, lease agreements, maintenance requests, and other essential documents.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Implement conflict management strategies to resolve tenant disputes effectively and maintain a harmonious living environment.
- Stay informed about local real estate laws and Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance in all leasing practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of property leasing processes and facilities management.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proficient in office software for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is essential.
