Position Title: Executive Support Specialist - HR (240 Days)

Summary/Function
Performs administrative support for Chief Human Resource Officer and Coordinator as needed.
Duties And Responsibilities
Education And Experience
BS/BA degree in human service related field. General experience in Human Resources- Training and Development is preferred
Knowledge
Excellent written and verbal professional communications, organizational, and good working knowledge of Business English and grammar. Working knowledge of the principles of office conduct and modern office procedures.
Skills/Effort
Strong and proficient technology skills, i.e., websites, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher and digital photography. Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and telephone skills. Ability to interpret and apply detailed oral and written instructions.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively using Standard English before groups of employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, and multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS And ABILITIES
Ability to pass a basic skills test and technology proficiency test. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.

Requires ability to work under a degree of stress related to duties that require constant attention, and meeting deadlines. Physical demands are restricted to office work requiring lifting/moving of items up to 10 pounds. Job requires the operation of standard office equipment.

Summary/Function
Performs administrative support for Chief Human Resource Officer and Coordinator as needed.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain certified job vacancy listing in the district, schools and on the website
- Assist applicants with Employee Selection Process and Onboarding
- Prepare interview lists as appropriate
- Prepare new employee packets and other materials related to Human Resources
- Process E-Verify and required background checks
- Assign new hires to New Employee Onboarding
- Prepare files for imaging
- Assist in planning, organizing and set-up of annual recruitment fairs
- Assist with Human Resources database system to include yearly organizing of teacher and classified employees, evaluation teams, and electronic forms
- Recordkeeping for annual requests, regular certified staff and other as requested
- Assist with recertification and certification requests/questions to staff and State Department of Education, and compliance reporting
- Assist with recordkeeping to include alternative certifications, memorandums for Institutes of Higher Education (IHE), and recertification.
- Perform other duties as required
