Sales Development Representative - Lexipol Grant Services

The Work
Lexipol’s Grant Services Team provides customized solutions enabling applicants to tap into federal, state, and private grants. More than $600 billion in nationwide grants is available to public safety agencies, local government, and education agencies each year. Few organizations have grants experts on staff, or the time to research opportunities and develop grant applications.
We offer three unique grant solutions :
GrantFinder, our grant search tool
Grant Writing Services for stand-alone projects and programs
Grant Assistance Platform program for applicants in need of support for multiple projects and programs on an annual basis
The SDR makes initial contact via outbound calls and emails with prospective clients and has interest generating conversations with prospects about our solutions. During the calls, the SDR qualifies prospects and determines product fit. The SDR drives the prospecting and lead engagement portion of the sales funnel at Lexipol.
As an SDR / Sales Associate, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by making outbound calls and setting appointments for our Grant sales team. You will be the first point of contact with potential customers, so a positive and professional attitude is a must. This is a remote role, where success will be measured by efficiency and effectiveness of activities in generating interest in our solutions and setting qualified appointments for the sales team.
This is done through working in these areas of focus :
SA - Quarterly Revenue – Achieve / exceed quota targets
Outbound Prospecting Activities

Compensation and Benefits
As a part-time (25 hours per week) independent contractor base hourly pay for this position is $33.00 per hour with a 90-day test period. There will also be a 1% override on new accounts closed & won by SAE’s that result from the SDR / SA’s outreach efforts.
