Our client is a large fashion house that produces and sells retail & luxury goods, shoes, and jewelry. Looking for a Senior Accountant who will report to the Head of Finance & Operations and is responsible for managing a company's financial and accounting practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Bookkeeping and support to the accounting entries preparation.
- Financial reporting : creation and preparation of financial reports for taxes and regulatory agencies.
- Reconciling accounts : Comparing records to ensure figures match, and identifying discrepancies and non-compliance issues.
- Maintaining ledgers : Ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of accounting tasks.
- Assisting : Helping the accounting manager prepare documents and interpret financial information for executives.
- Identify potential areas of opportunity, risk and provide solutions.
- Collaborates with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Support to the preparation of the financial statement.
- Oversees all accounting records and subsidiary details.
- Arranges payments of invoices and rent expenses.
- Support to the preparation and implementation of new procedures.
- Ad hoc projects.
- Various financial / accounting functions as needed.
