REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
- Also required is : 2 years of experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures based on the given requirements including DB2 Joins and Sub Queries; conducting performance tuning of queries by analyzing the explain plans, recreating the user driver tables by right primary index, and scheduling collection of statistics for secondary or various join indexes; utilizing SQL (DB2) and No-SQL (Cassandra) databases; implementing various data structures; utilizing Java, Python, Scala, SQL and software development; developing and maintaining ETL pipelines in Hive, Spark, Hadoop and Kafka; implementing ETL jobs using Shell and Hive Scripts to perform data transformation such as data de-duplication and curation, and load report to No-SQL; implementing a streaming application using Spark jobs, and processing them using Spark SQL and written UDF to perform data transformation.
- Employee reports to LexisNexis USA office in Raleigh, NC but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
