About the Job
- As an Elder Law Estate/Trust Litigation Associate, you will work closely with our litigation section chief, junior associate, and senior paralegal to handle matters ranging from factual/legal research and cite checking to drafting and assembling exhibits, complaints, briefs, pleadings, and motions.
- You will also make court appearances and try cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the firm's primary attorney contact with clients for litigation matters
- Meet potential clients to assess potential conflicts of interest, case quality, suitability for the firm's practice, and potential profitability
- Litigation support, motions, and trial practice in all state courts and US District Courts
- Delegate effectively and manage time wisely
- Collaborate daily with attorneys and co-workers to meet deadlines
