What You Will Be Doing
- Accountable for the delivery of committed SAFe features. Guides the team through Program Increment Planning process
- Helps the team define how they want to execute work during sprints/program increments
- Facilitates Scrum meetings during Program increment planning and during the sprints
- Helps remove impediments for the team
- Closely work with the Release Train Engineer to support all relevant ART (agile release train), and coordinates inter team dependencies during PI planning and execution
- Guides the team through constant process improvement through sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospective, release planning, and other events as necessary
- Champion the use of tools to tie activities at the Delivery Team Level to the Program team level and items at the Portfolio Team Level
- Champion the use of tools to track key metrics (lead time, number of defects per release, mean time to recover from defects, deployment frequency)
- Must understand Agile theory and SAFe concepts
- Must understand Lean theory and concepts (MVP, Iterative Delivery, Learning/Measuring/Adjusting)
- Must have a Continuous Improvement/Learning mindset
- Knowledge IT Security Applications and Concepts
- Must be organized
- Some Program Management skills can be helpful, but this is not Program Management
- Conflict Resolution Skills
- Team Awareness
- Problem Solving
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3 years of experience working with Agile/Scrum
- SAFe certifications and experience
