Position Summary:
As a Production Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless workflow within the Service Department. From managing repair order processes to coordinating work distribution for our service technicians. Your contributions will drive the overall productivity of the team. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review repair orders for accuracy and compliance.
- Book and close repair orders following established policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Regularly update the computer dispatch system for accurate tracking of progress.
- Organize sublet repairs by managing sublet POs, billing, and mark-up documentation.
- Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to plan the day’s work, identify potential challenges, and implement solutions.
- Monitor and update repair order statuses in the system and ensure proper technician documentation and flagging.
- Provide real-time updates to Service Consultants to assist in effective customer communication.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years’ experience in a dealership position preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with attention to detail.
- Must be computer literate. Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
