Service Porter / Technician's Assistant

Job Summary
The Service Porter / Technician's Assistant is an entry level position that provides an excellent role to learn OEM Service Operations. This position involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the service department, including vehicle handling, customer interaction, assisting parts and technicians with a variety of tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, willing ness to learn new skills, looking to develop a career in automotive service and repair, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
• Drive vehicles to and from service bays and parking areas safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including washing vehicles when necessary.
• Assist with cash handling and operate the cash register during peak times.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely service delivery.
• Support guest services by answering questions and providing information about services offered.
• Perform valet parking duties when required, ensuring customer vehicles are parked safely.
• Handle deliveries of parts or vehicles as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
