Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. This position involves various tasks that ensure a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent customer service skills.
This role is an entry level position in our repair facility and ideal candidate is one with aspirations towards becoming a certified technician in the future.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of designated areas.
- Assist technicians with various tasks that facilitate shop efficiency and your professional development.
- Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with company policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is ideal but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
