The Service Receptionist / BDC Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.50 and $17.50.
Position Purpose
The Service Receptionist/BDC is responsible for answering all incoming telephone calls into the service and parts department in a professional and timely manner and providing either information requested, schedule appointments or directs callers to proper party.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls, directs caller to appropriate department or individual, schedule service appointments or takes a thorough message.
Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
Enters data into computer system and runs necessary reports for management.
Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policy.
Adhere to established dress code policy at all times.
Ensure appearance of the parts and service department and work area is always in pristine condition.
Adhere to work schedule and arrive at work before your scheduled start time and be at your work station productively engaged by the scheduled time.
Exemplifies organizational culture and holds others in department accountable for doing the same.
Schedule service appointments received by incoming phone call, voice mail, email, and live chat.
Call and schedule appointments for aftermarket products.
Backup loaner car desk and customer service representatives as needed.
