What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Piano Technician position at Ley Piano Company?
Ley Piano Company is a your friendly neighborhood piano shop. We have been in the business for over 30 years and are on a first-name basis with most of the pianos in Tucson. We are a small company, but looking to grow as we care for our city’s pianos so we can also build more of our very own Tucson-born, American-made, all-original grand piano, The Monserrat. If you love these instruments as much as we do, don’t mind getting messy, and enjoy working with your hands, we would love to have you join our team.
This job includes repairing pianos, assisting with rebuilds, shop maintenance, and the occasional piano move. Your primary role would be to assist the piano technicians in whatever they need and keep the shop neat and tidy. Prior experience with woodworking is a plus, but we are happy to train you and build your skills (we promise you will learn more about pianos than you think there is to know ;).

rate of pay will depend on experience.
