LEGAL SECRETARY
Busy Lawrence County law firm is seeking a legal secretary to join their team.
The ideal candidate would possess a very strong skill set, a high degree of professionalism, and organizational skills.
Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter. Only top-tier candidates with solid work histories will be considered.
Solid knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, and time entry program in a legal environment; knowledge of other MS
Office programs or litigation management software a plus.
- Very strong typing, grammatical, and proofreading skills;
- Preparation of legal documents and correspondence from draft to final form;
- Real estate and estate work;
- Prior law firm experience (5 years - working for top executives a plus);
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with clients, attorneys, and supporting staff;
Ability to work independently and be pro-active with regard to managing day-to-day tasks and attorney calendars. Conscientious and amiable personality.
