What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Order Puller position at LF Staffing Services, Inc.?
Labor Finders is seeking 2nd shift order pullers. Temp to hire!
- Employee must have steel toe boots & be equipped with all (ppe ) safety gear before his assigned start time.
- Once clocked in, start by checking your assigned equipment for any issues & fill out your equipment checklist. Report any maintenance issues or malfunctions if any immediately. Employee is to check into the dispatching office to receive his order pulling forms & assigned truck information for the delivery area.
- Pulling orders are to be reviewed for special notes or instructions per customer request & to visualize the safest & correct way to load the material pulled on to the flat bed of the truck.
- Proceed to order pulling, retrieve material according to quantity, size etc., ensuring accuracy. Always begin pulling from the last stop & build your load up to your first stop during the loading process.
- Large bundles of material must be tightly strapped with steel bands & secured with a pusher seal. Bundles under 250 lbs., can be wired tightly as well. Pallets must be shrink-wrapped bottom to top securely before loading onto flat bed.
- Bundles pulled out of their assigned location for pulling purposes must be return to its original location strapped & safely put back without damaging material.
- Completed orders are to be turned into your immediate supervisor & communicate any information needed. For example: back orders, unable to locate material etc.
- Completed truck loads are to be checked thoroughly by assigned order puller & dual verified by supervisor. If all is correct move on to your next truck load.
