Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, and FDA regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Evaluating center and equipment readiness
- Overseeing quality personnel functions, including hiring, training, and disciplinary actions
- Assisting the Quality Assurance Unit in maintaining accurate donor center records
- Managing shipments and interpreting SOP revisions
- Assisting with training, inspections, and audits, and developing CAPA processes
- Overseeing the Deviation Management System and tracking quality metrics
- Performing self-assessments and overseeing the Proficiency Testing process
- Managing document control and supervising Quality Assurance Unit employees
- Collaborating with Field Quality, Operations support, and Corporate staff to ensure compliance
- Maintaining open communication with Management and working on multiple projects with competing priorities
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline, life sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in interpreting regulations, SOP development, and quality principles
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
