This role will gain valuable experience with the design requirements for electrical distribution equipment including switchboards, transformers, junction boxes, utility sections, and metering. Position Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical design drawings for low voltage switchboards, controls, junction boxes, troughs, and bussed trough ways
- Optimize designs for low cost, high reliability, and ease of manufacturing
- Create and maintain quality control for drawings, one-lines, component layouts, wiring diagrams, BOM’s, project submittals, construction drawings, and As-Builts
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, including ANSI, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, and UL.
- Provide Engineering and technical support to manufacturing, test, and product support
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Related college degree or other appropriate qualifications
- Prior medium and low voltage switchgear experience with relevant utility metering for component requirements
- Proficiency in engineering, design, and specifying LV electrical equipment, including switchboards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
