Responsibilities

- Assists with gathering and analyzing transmission data from the asset management system, outage management system, PowerPlan financial system and other systems as needed to perform analysis.
- Work with departmental leaders on process improvement efforts including acting as a resource for data extrapolation and analysis.
- Provide analysis as requested in support of large projects, complex data analysis and business strategies.
- Supports the development and maintenance of metrics, reports, and dashboards to track operational performance, financials, resource needs, and resource efficiency.
- Represents the Company by communicating regularly with other internal departments as well as external organizations and agencies.
- Identifies, plans, and implements operational solutions and best practices based on data analysis.
- Develops and maintains various operational and regulatory databases.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, business management, or other analytical discipline
- 3 years transmission analyst professional experience. Experience with data analysis, programming languages and data processing techniques (e.g. using SQL, R, and SAS).
- Ability to analyze and solve complex engineering and/or operational problems from a business perspective.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication skills Knowledgeable of LKE work management, outage management, and financial management systems.
- Proficient in additional database and analysis software such as Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPivot, R, Python, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
