Overview :
This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of budgetary duties and analyses, assisting in the development of monthly forecasts and the annual operating plan. Under the supervision of manager, Transmission and Gas Budgeting and / or Budget Analysts, assigned responsibilities to work on projects and programs necessary to achieve or exceed long and short-term financial goals.
Student must be enrolled full time, pursuing a bachelors degree. This position will be part-time (~ 20-30 hours / week) during spring and fall semesters and either part-time or full-time (40 hours / week) during summers. The Company will be flexible in the part-time work schedule (8am-5pm - Monday-Friday) based on the student's class schedule.
Responsibilities :
- Assists in the preparation of monthly variance reporting for supported businesses.
- Assists with monthly accounting journal entries within the Oracle Financial system.
- Assists with project set up within PowerPlan.
- Query the Oracle and PowerPlan databases, and utilize the output to update various Excel spreadsheets.
- Assist in the annual Budgeting process for O&M and Capital.
- Manage multiple tasks while accurately maintaining record of work accomplishments.
- Performs other duties as directed and assigned by Manager / Budget Analysts.
