Production Operator - Solar

We are currently seeking Production Operator  to join our factory set up team in Huntsville, AL as part of the new LG Electronics Huntsville solar module factory.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• LG is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill machining, assembly, and packing operator positions in our production departments.
• Successful candidates must have mechanical ability and accurate math and measurement skills.
• Be able to control output of various machines in order to produce quality parts that are within required specifications.
• Meet or exceed production quantity goals set forth each day.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Should have the ability to work in a team based manufacturing environment.
• Reads machine tags, standard parts list, production orders and blueprints.
• Retrieves parts and moves units to and from work stations.
• Operates various equipment and machinery.
• Assembles various sub-assemblies (i.e. Cell, Glass, Frame, Pallet etc.).
• Performs various assembly operations (i.e. assembling, soldering, etc.).
• Inspects unit and parts to verify conformance to specifications and insure quality standards are met.
• After assembly, carry out quality inspection itself. Detect the problematic part.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and follows safe work practice rules.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as required

Requirements

• Language Skills : Able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Math skills : Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Preferred Qualifications :
• One (1) year manufacturing experience
• Education : High School diploma or equivalency.
