Quality Assurance Coordinator

  We are currently seeking an Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Farmers Branch, TX  as part of the Compressor & Motor Quality Team!

  POSITION SUMMARY:

As a team member of the LG OEM Compressors & Motors team, The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for data collection and analysis which will be provided from OEM customers and internal clients. This individual will need to analyze and discuss with customers and HQ quality team reporting to supervisor and HQ periodically. Also, this individual will also be responsible for general office duties, filing, and generating reports for Sales Engineering and Quality team and communication outside logistic partner with in/out bound shipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assigned to specific customer to give quality support
• Engage in close communication with customers continuously via email, phone and actual face to face meeting
• Will participate in tear down analysis which includes conducting testing on various components consistent with defined engineering processes.
• Writing summary reports to suggest root cause for failures on our products
• Research raw data and generate reports for Sales Engineering and Quality Team.
• Prepare information for data entry by compiling and sorting information while establishing entry priorities.
• Analyze current quality status and areas of improvements
• Generate weekly quality report and issues to supervisor
• Generate Bi-weekly report to HQ in Korea
• Assume responsibility for maintenance of all equipment, including computers, copy machines and fax machines. Maintain Lab and office supplies by checking inventory and order items

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Must be able to follow direction and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge od Six Sigma preferred
• Business level proficiency in Korean is required
• No travel restriction (Domestic, Overseas)
