Summer 2025
Location: Holland, MI
Schedule: Full Time; Monday - Friday

Description:
As a General Purchasing Intern at LG Energy Solution, you will support procurement operations by assisting with supplier relations, managing purchase orders and invoices, and contributing to monthly purchasing reports.
Responsibilities: At LGESMI you will working directly with our Manufacturing/Production Engineers and will be working on projects that include:
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for goods and services to support operational needs
- Support the creation and issuance of purchase orders (POs) under supervision, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Help track purchase orders and deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment of requirements
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to review service contracts and vendor agreements
- Participate in maintaining purchasing records, including vendor registrations and monthly purchase history reports
- Support internal teams by coordinating purchasing request and tracking progress
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Data Analytics -Junior or Senior standing
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 GPA or higher
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new tasks and projects
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals
