The Marketing Team Leader is responsible for product and process analyses and program management. This position is responsible for internal product planning and the StageGate process. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, evaluating the market, and forecasting. Additionally, evaluates product performance to help develop and update company goals and objectives.
Essential Functions :
- Manage Product Responsibilities Management Analyst(s)
- Sales project management utilizing the StageGate process
- Determine business-case and feasibility through data analysis
- Business Planning for international operations and new product lines
- Calculate profitability for all customer accounts and products (Product Book) at least quarterly and report to President / CEO.
- Integral player in the sales business plan process
- Salesforce Administrator providing custom applications (objects) as needed to improve commercial team productivity and communications with R&D
- Oversee the coordination of customer trade shows
- Understands customer requirements and customer specific requirements and how to disseminate through the organization (MS 5.1 / 1-01).
- Bi-Annually review Leadership Development Plans for direct reports to ensure that it is completed and signed (See Schedule of Responsibilities).
- Analyze actual and future labor, material, freight, warehouse, and overhead cost against standard / budget. Research and explain variances. Update standards.
- Salesforce Administrator and user trainer
- Forecast sales, raw material COGS, and provide gap analyses
- Actively conduct bidding and assist in negotiations
- Quantitative data analysis and research of global market trends
- Create Cost Benefit Analyses
- Administer and report on customer surveys and email blasts
- Maintain product specification cross references for internal team
- Create sales data analyses and commission reports
- Negotiate sales software contracts (Salesforce, AFS, and Survey tool)
- Perform raw material cost analysis and management of the data
- Provide Production Management Team monthly gallon projections.
