Position Overview
We are seeking a Vice President to join our Tax team. The primary responsibilities of our team include overseeing tax compliance and providing internal consulting across our fund complex. In this role, the Tax Manager will leverage their subject matter expertise in tax strategy to advise and collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers, Account Managers, Transfer Agents, Legal, Compliance, Product Managers, and others on technical tax matters. Reporting to the Head of Fund Administration, the candidate will serve as a key tax advisor for our U.S. regulated funds business, which comprises more than 200 different fund products, including open-end, closed-end, ETF, and variable annuity funds.
The candidate will provide market coverage and add value consulting with Portfolio Managers and Product Strategists throughout product design and the pre-trade through the post-trade cycles to explore additional opportunities for tax optimization.

Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing tax expertise in the following areas :
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required, Minimum of 10 years of experience within a Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent industry experience focused on mutual fund tax and operations.
Compensation
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Salary Range : $150,000.00 - $225,000.00.
