What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technologist I position at LGC Group?
Follows standardized procedures and prepares samples for testing. Analyzes test results for accuracy acceptability and critical limits. Relies on limited independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Functional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Operation and maintenance (including minor troubleshooting) of automated chemistry analyzers
- Data entry as well as assessment and interpretation of quality control results
- Testing production and research & development samples and assessing testing results
