We are seeking a dedicated, naturally warm, and patient preschool teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to continuous learning and self-improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing, engaging, and eco-friendly learning environment.
- Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with our holistic and play-based approach.
- Foster social-emotional development using conscious discipline and positive reinforcement.
- Encourage curiosity and creativity through hands-on, nature-based, and sensory-rich activities.
- Collaborate with families to support each child’s growth and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that aligns with our eco-friendly values.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
- No experience required- willing to train the right candidates.
- Must have reliable transportation and able to make it to work on time!
- A warm and light spirit with high energy
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).
- Ability to create and maintain a warm, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Passion for sustainability and incorporating eco-friendly practices into the classroom.
- Willingness to continue education and professional development to grow as an educator.
- Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements.
- Must have basic health and safety certificate alongside ADA and other certifications.
