Overview
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Duties
- Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance.
- Troubleshoot software applications and technical issues to resolve problems promptly.
- Set up and configure new laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory and provide technical support for LAN/WAN networks.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement security measures such as firewalls and data encryption programs.
- Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on new technologies.
Experience
- Proficiency in DNS, TCP/IP, and network protocols.
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware components and peripherals.
- Familiarity with IT support tools such as Remedy or similar ticketing systems.
- Strong knowledge of mobile devices and their integration into corporate networks.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to firewalls and other network security appliances.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $24.24 - $33.19 per hour
