Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Logistics Coordinator to add to our growing team. This team member ensures the seamless execution of on-time, reliable, and safe delivery of hazmat products. The Logistics Coordinator is very important to both the success of our drivers and our commitment to customers.
Responsibilities :
Transportation Coordination
- Create driver delivery schedules to meet customer demands. Assign and pre-plan loads to drivers according to appointment times and driver availability to prevent supply interruptions
- Work in an IT-enabled environment to optimize schedules and minimize supply chain cost
- Respond to frequent real-time delivery changes driven by supply chain events. Collaborate and communicate closely with drivers, terminals, and the larger operations team to problem solve as events arise
- Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation. Ensure visibility for other logistics team members
