LH Stamping is a leader in precision metal stamping, specializing in progressive die technology. We are seeking an experienced Die Repairman to join our team and ensure our tooling operates at peak efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain progressive dies to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance and modifications to improve die performance.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble stamping dies.
- Operate surface grinders, mills, lathes, and other shop equipment.
- Work closely with engineers and production teams to enhance tooling longevity and efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and modifications.
Requirements:
- Experience in progressive die stamping and die repair.
- Proficiency in assembly, machining, and grinding.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience
- Experience working in a team atmosphere.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
