Louisiana Extended Care Hospital of Lafayette is currently hiring a Director of Nursing to oversee our TCU floor

Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating, planning and evaluating services in responsible areas utilizing participative management skills. Maintains responsibility for the deployment and enhancement of human and material resources. Facilitates the delivery of quality patient care through the Charge Nurses. Contributes to the Nursing Department and hospital through support of the philosophy and objectives of the hospital. Education and Experience
Formal Education: Associate Degree or certification equivalent
Experience: 3 years
License, Registration, and / or Certification Requirement: Yes
Education Requirements
- Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing.
Education Desired
- BSN preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Involvement in budgetary processes, personnel management, and infection control practices.
Experience Desired
- Two years management experience preferred.
License Requirements
- Current registered nurse in state of employment.
- ACLS certification.
- CPR certification.
License Desired
- CCRN/PCCN certification preferred.
