Director of Operations Support

Summary

The Director of Operations Support is responsible for assessment, allocation, and deployment of operational support resources for assigned area. The role will actively manage integration and travel resources for assigned area and will act as a liaison with local agencies, management staff and other departments throughout the company.

• Current Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse.
• 75% Travel Required throughout Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, & Ohio.
  
  
  

Responsibilities

• Participates in and helps to facilitate the QAPI planning and processes, reporting, and improvement action plans in assigned division.
• Manages implementation, roll out, and review of any new clinical or operational programs, tools, education, and services for assigned area.
• Provides supervision of the assigned operations support team including appropriate assignments based on area needs and incoordination with local and regional leadership.
• Ensures appropriate training, orientation, and credentials for support team members.
• Capable of performing an onsite assessment of the agency assigned with reporting either written or verbal to regional leadership.
• Communicates regularly to the VP Operations Support/Division/Regional leaders regarding any identified risk management, patient care, corporate compliance, integration, and/or regulatory issues affecting the assigned area while providing support/direction to the agency regarding appropriate action plan to address any needs.
• Provides oversight of the integration process for any new acquisition in assigned area.
• Troubleshoots questions and/or concerns presented by the support services team members as well as other staff, including seeking appropriate avenues for resolution, and follows up.
• Manages support services to assist, when required, with testing software functionality related to upgrades, service packs, hot fixes and LHC changes.
• Assists agencies in assigned division with remote continuing education and/or training when needed.
• Serves as a liaison with home office departments as needed with training or development of agency staff.
• Assists in integrating customer service standards across assigned area.
• Can serve as an interim clinical leader in assigned area as needed.
• Has knowledge of and maintains adherence to Hospice rules and regulations as well as LHC policies and procedures.

Education And Experience

Education & Experience

• At least three years of documented experience in discipline with at least one year of full -time experience in a hospice, home health, or oncology setting .
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a management/leadership position
• The Director of Operations Support will not hold any simultaneous/concurrent employment by any other licensed healthcare/hospice agency (excluding Arkansas and West Virginia).
