Job Description
An Occupational Therapist is sought after by Home Care Services of Haywood Regional Medical Center, a part of LHC Group. The therapist will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments and adaptive equipment.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to build in-person trusted therapist-patient relationships, independence and autonomy, and career growth possibilities.
Key responsibilities include providing service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, evaluating patient's functional status and occupational therapy needs, consulting with physicians, and observing, recording, and reporting patient's response to treatment.
Requirements
- A current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of employment
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
