Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment.

• Provides service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy.
• Evaluates patient functional status, occupational therapy needs, and consults with physicians in developing the therapy plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Conducts patient assessments evaluating functional ability using diagnostic tests.

Education and Experience

License Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure
• Current CPR certification
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
