Summary
The Payroll Specialist plays an integral role within our home office payroll department at LHC Group.
Responsibilities
- Processes bi-weekly multi-state payroll.
- Responsible for time entry.
- Responsible for verification of data accuracy.
- Computes and verifies pay calculations.
- Generates payments to employees.
- Responsible for research and problem resolution.
- Processes bi-weekly and monthly reports as directed.
Education and Experience
- Working knowledge of Federal & State Payroll Laws.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years full-cycle payroll processing experience required, experience with payroll taxes and garnishments required.
- Great Plains experience preferred.
- Must be proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
