Accountant for Sacramento non profit-
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex accounting, particularly within non-profit, construction, cost accounting, or fund accounting. This role involves handling prepaid credit cards, non-personnel allocations, and grant accounting, including billing and allocating to grants. The candidate will work closely with senior staff to understand coding and review checks, assist with credit cards, prepaids, and non-personnel allocations, and support various projects to streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities :
Manage prepaid credit cards and non-personnel allocations to grants.
Perform grant accounting, billing, and allocating to grants.
Handle complex coding on both AP side and billing back to the grant side.
Collaborate with senior staff to understand coding and review checks.
Assist with credit cards, prepaids, and non-personnel allocations.
Support projects to streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications :
Minimum of four years of accounting experience.
Preferred background in non-profit, construction, cost accounting, or fund accounting.
AA or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
Experience with accounting software like MIP, SAP, or Great Plains is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to understand and apply accounting principles.

7.5-hour workday, 37.5-hour workweek.

Pay Details : $26.46 to $35.17 per hour
