Job Title : Accounting Assistant (Temp-to-Perm)
Location : On-Site, Wayne, New Jersey
Employment Type : Temporary to Permanent
Hourly Compensation : $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our client’s team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process and record invoices, payments, and financial transactions
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Maintain accurate financial records and files
Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of accounting information
Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation
Handle general administrative tasks related to the finance department
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
1-2 years of accounting experience preferred, but open to recent graduates with strong academic backgrounds
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) is a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
